Team & roles

Invite teammates and control who can view or change resources.

Organizations

Work in SFHooks is scoped to an organization. A user can belong to several organizations with a different role in each, and switches between them with the org switcher in the top bar.

  • Owner — full control of the org; assigned to whoever creates it.
  • Admin — manage the team (invite and remove members) and change any resource.
  • Member — view and change resources, but can't manage the team.
  • Read-only Scale — view everything, change nothing. Every create/update/delete is blocked for this role.

Read-only is a Scale feature

The read-only role is part of role-based access control, available on the Scale plan. On other plans, members have write access.

Inviting teammates Pro

Team access — inviting additional seats — is available on Pro and above. Owners and admins invite people by email; the invitee gets a secure link to join the organization.

  • Invitation links are valid for 7 days.
  • An invite can be revoked any time before it's accepted.
  • Invitation status moves from pending to accepted or revoked.

Seats

The number of members an organization can have is set by its plan (Starter is single-seat; Pro and Scale allow more). If you're at your seat limit, upgrade or remove a member before sending another invite.
